Janet, Jam & Lewis: Deconstructing 30 years of music
This week we’ve been honored to listen to Australian writer John Cameron’s documentary ‘Janet, Jam & Lewis: Deconstructing 30 years of music’. Using interviews and tracks from Janet’s career – even rare ones – John contextualizes and analyzes how the Fantastic Three have crafted their work over the decades.

For example, we can hear how Control came to be, and he shows us layer by layer how ‘The Pleasure Principle’ was created, with each and every rich piece of instrumentals. The story goes on and we also get to see how Janet’s vocals were layered on top of each other to create the sultry chorus to ‘If’. It is really worth the listen, and every Janet fan should take their time to know this great work. Congratulations, John!
